FAQ

  1. Why does this website suck? This is a great question. I just started working on it very recently. I have started lots of websites that nobody has every seen. I decided that if I wait until this website is perfect, I would never share it. So here it is in the infant stages. Hopefully it will develop into something cool, unless I lose interest.
  2. How can I join your mailing list? There is a form you can fill out, or if you send me a comment, there is a box you can check. It should be easy for you to unsubscribe, but if you have trouble, just send me a note and I’ll take you off the list manually.
  3. What kind of content are you going to be posting? Not sure. I hope this helps you decided whether or not you’ll come back.
  4. Is everything here free? Yes, for now it is. I might post things that you have to pay for someday, but not for a while. But even if I eventually do that, I’ll probably still be posting a lot of free stuff. In general, I think most things will be either free or cheap. If I post something amazing someday, it might be expensive. Hope all this helps.

Why should you listen to me?

In case you are wondering why you should listen to me about how to how to get better at music, here are a few reasons.

1. Most likely I’ve been playing and teaching music since before you were born.

2. I can probably do some things on the piano that you haven’t figured out yet, mostly because of #1.

3. If degrees impress you, I have have a doctorate in piano performance and a certificate in music theory.

4. Before you assume too much about me, I’ve played jazz and improvised music my whole life, probably since before you are born (in most cases).

I don’t normally like to brag about my credentials, but since you asked why you should listen, I answered.
